"We stayed for 2 nights as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. We checked in and Cole on reception was great, very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. He also kindly upgraded our room which was a really nice touch. Our room was lovely with everything you need. The spa in the hotel was amazing; so clean and not crowded we used this both days. We would love to return again soon. "

"A full week after we checked out the hotel emailed me saying they reviewed our recorded and I had an outstanding bill from the restaurant. We never ate at the hotel or used any services. They asked me to pay the bill online. I will not be staying here again. "

"I had a very pleasant 4 night stay here. Everything was great. I was quite surprised that they only service the rooms every 3 days however you only need to ask reception and they organise this whenever you want. The hotel is a bit bougie, nicely decorated. The staff are excellent. I liked the security of having to scan your room key to access the lift. I never had to wait once for the lift!"

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "
