"Just returned home from three nights at this lovely lodge. Located in a quiet part of a large site, it is well maintained and immaculately clean. We were blessed with excellent weather and as an added bonus got a display of the Northern Lights. Everything you need is at this lodge, just add food and some wine and you will have a great time. Would not hesitate to book again."

"Cute little cottage in a good location with everything you would need. Stairs are typical of the age of the cottage, after a day out in the hills they became a challenge in themselves! Overall lovely couple days away. Thanks! Spar across the road had everything you would need including logs and kindling."

"Had a lovely stay at the Swan at Grasmere. Staff were all really nice and the room was great. The shower was also really good. Couldn't fault it and the weather was amazing. We would definitely recommend The Swan. The Bus stops right outside as well which was really handy. We didn't need to use the car all weekend. "
