"Lovely B&B near Aviemore"
My friend & I stayed for a stopover to break-up a driving journey but also to do some mooching around Aviemore. Norrie & Jenny made us feel very welcome from the minute we entered and even helped us find a great place for dinner nearby. The room we had was extremely comfortable and couldn't have asked for anything more. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up well for heading off on our journey home. Just a tip for future folks staying, our Sat Nav put the B&B location on a side street further down the main road so we almost had a problem finding it, but after turning around and heading back towards town managed to spot it.

"Beautiful hotel with wonderful, welcoming staff"
Culloden House is a historical hotel located in beautiful countryside adjacent to the city of Inverness. Upon arrival the staff made us feel welcome immediately. Throughout our stay the staff cared for our every need. The food is excellent. We ate dinner the first night there and this was the best meal we have had in Scotland. Breakfast is hearty and delicious. The grounds welcome you to walk about them. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and plan to return.

"Great location and wonderful hosts"
We spent four nights at Dunallan House in August. It was a very convenient base from which to explore the Cairngorms and the Speyside area. Ginny and Steve were lovely and attentive hosts. We found them very responsive to all our inquiries and requests, and looked forward to their ample and excellent breakfasts. We slept well, for it’s very quiet at night. The room was not overly large but was perfectly comfortable; most importantly, there were no dust or mildew issues which makes all the difference for allergy sufferers. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely visit!

The room was fine for the price, great value. The setting however is really charming, will be sure to stay in one of their "pods" next time. Very accommodating host as I was a late arrival. Great breakfast! Will revisit for sure.

"Visiting Tomintoul"
Glentorets B&B is in a quiet residential street parallel to the main street. It was not too difficult to find, although the street is quite long! A warm welcome from the hosts, Mark and Valerie. Our room was a small double room on the ground floor, with two single beds, which made it quite cramped with all our luggage (we were away for nearly three weeks and had quite a lot!). The en suite was excellent, spotless and well provisioned. Breakfast choices were appealing and wide-ranging. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. As the sign on the door says "Arrive as guests, leave as friends". Thank you to Mark and Valerie for making us so welcome in their lovely home.
