Modern Fisherman's Cottage with Stunning Uninterrupted Views of the Moray Firth
- This beautifully built modern property is directly opposite one of the best secluded sandy beaches in Findochty, and has stunning views of the Moray Firth. In the 1800's fishing was conducted from this natural inlet and this is also where the famous painting 'Home With The Tide' was painted by James Clarke Hook, which currently hangs in the Tate Gallery. The house provides the perfect place for relaxation and unwinding. Spend some time wandering through the historic fishing streets and walk along to the marina to watch it's creel and pleasure boats, then amble up to the cliff tops to take in the panoramic views or even a spot of dolphin watching! There are other beaches within easy walking distance and opportunities to be more active with cycling, golfing and sailing nearby.
