Holiday home in Buckie
This beautifully built modern property is directly opposite one of the best secluded sandy beaches in Findochty, and has stunning views of the Moray Firth. In the 1800's fishing was conducted from this natural inlet and this is also where the famous painting 'Home With The Tide' was painted by James Clarke Hook, which currently hangs in the Tate Gallery. The house provides the perfect place for relaxation and unwinding. Spend some time wandering through the historic fishing streets and walk along to the marina to watch it's creel and pleasure boats, then amble up to the cliff tops to take in the panoramic views or even a spot of dolphin watching! There are other beaches within easy walking distance and opportunities to be more active with cycling, golfing and sailing nearby.

Stayed for a week with my husband, son and my grandchildren. Fantastic time had by all. Could not fault the cottage in any way - superb location, very warm and comfortable, extremely well equipped even down to plastic cups and bowls for the kids and board games and buckets and spades. These little touches made our stay even better. Will definitely return.

Findochty, my happy place
I’ve been visiting Findochty since early childhood and once again we’ve had a wonderful relaxing holiday.
This is the third time we have stayed in this beautifully situated cottage with everything provided to complete our stay.
Tom and Ashley have been so helpful especially as we had to cancel our booking with them in the summer and then we were lucky to make a last minute booking with their help.

Absolutely stunning cottage
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage, it was definitely better than it looks in the pics, spotlessly clean and amazing location. A little gem!!!!!!

Fisherman’s Cottage
We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely, cosy cottage overlooking the small beach. The cottage was well furnished and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, with plenty of walks and golf courses to choose from. We know this area fairly well but this was the first time that we’ve stayed in Findochty. Would highly recommend this cottage, so much so, that we’ve booked again for next year!

Nice relaxing break
The property was perfect, if anything the pictures on the website don't do it justice, it's much bigger than we thought. Plenty of storage space and good big cupboard in hall for boots and jackets. Nice and warm with all mod cons. Parking right outside front door and plenty of nice walks. View from house is amazing, waking up to look direct at the sea is bliss. Have already made enquiries about our next visit.
