"This is an old budget motel, but great value for money. Rooms are clean and of a reasonable size. Bed really comfortable (I like firm, non spongy beds) and nice hot shower. Easy parking and lots of nearby restaurants in walking distance."

Staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. Only Stayed for a night before getting on a cruise. They provide a shuttle service to the port at a charge which was very helpful. Breakfast was mostly continental, but great. Rooms were nice and clean, lovely big windows. Nearby bus service to get you into town, but was running every 30 mins or so when I was there. Would use again.

This lovely B&B is very close to the main historic sights of Ravenna. It is clean and comfortable with welcoming staff who go out of their way to make your stay a success.

The hotel was really nice with ample parking around. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The hotel does not have a restaurant but does offer optional breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful during check in and check out. In the vicinity there are shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Overall a pleasant stay.

A lovely little hotel at the heart of Ravenna. A bit of a first in that it comes with its own church. A great place to stay, the rooms are on the small side and the bathroom is definitely basic but this is more than made up for by the location and the building itself, you couldn’t ask to be closer to the action. Breakfast is included and this is substantial. There is plenty of outside space to sit with your Spritz when it is sunny. The staff are lovely and hard working. There is limited parking...

We arrived in the middle of the night (3am) but were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and helpful receptionist. The day time service was equally friendly and helpful. For those travelling by car this is hotel is excellent.

A small pied-a-terre in the centre of Ravenna with all the sights and museums within easy walking distance on the flat. There is limited parking on site but this needs to be booked in advance and you will need a residents pass to drive round the city streets(the hotel can arrange this). Breakfast is individually prepared and served- at a very reasonable price. The bedrooms are a reasonable size and some have outside space. Wifi was good.

The staff at Santa Maria Foris were very friendly and welcoming, especially the ‘front of house’ lady. The room was of a very good size, quiet and cool (when outside it was 30+C). Nice shady and quiet gardens. Good WiFi, free coffee, and a garage for secure off-street parking. The hotel is very well located for all of the main historical sites, good restaurants and the main market. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed Ravenna. Thank you!

Property sits in a quiet location on a canal. It is clean, stylishly fitted and decorated and the room and en suite were comfortable and of reasonable size. Proprietors, Riccardo and Sarah, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an excellent spread of yoghurts, meats, eggs and pastries with local jams etc. A fewvparking spaces are available directly behind the property at a charge of €8 per day, but, be warned, the entrance and parking is very tight, so not for a large car!

The hotel was in a great location - everything we wanted to see was a few minutes' walk away. Yet the road was nice and quiet. Free use of bikes was a great boon for a cycle to Classe.
The staff were all fabulous, the breakfast was varied and more than enough of everything was available.
Our only minor quibble was that the shower was a bit feeble, but it had no negative impact on our stay.

The best area to stay in Montagnola is the historic centre, particularly around Via Zamboni and the university district, for its convenience and access to local life.

The temperatures are comfortably warm, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding hills and enjoying outdoor activities like walking or cycling. The landscape transforms with the rich colours of the harvest season, and this is a fantastic time for food and wine enthusiasts to visit. Many local festivals celebrating grapes, truffles, and other regional produce occur during September and October.
