We were pleasantly surprised with an early check-in at 11:00 a.m. and an upgrade from a Superior to a Deluxe room, which was very much appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a good bed and a large, attractive bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, offering good variety and quality. The on-site restaurant, The Spoon, has a lovely ambience and very good food. The hotel has a spa, gym, sauna, steam room, and Turkish bath, but access appeared limited to the late afternoon/evening, which was disappointing. We also had a blocked washbasin drain that was reported twice but not resolved during our stay. Overall, an excellent experience and still deserving of five stars thanks to the location, comfort, service, and dining."
