We stayed at the Hotel David for four nights. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did an invisible but excellent job, leaving our room immaculate every day. Our twin room was spacious, with ample storage space, and a large shower room off a small hallway. The bed was very comfortable. There a wide variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit and freshly made pastries and cakes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind the 15-20-minute walk...

A friendly beautiful hotel

The grounds were gorgeous and the staff were very accommodating to food allergies and other requests. Our apartment was lovely. We both wished we had booked a longer stay here because it was such a peaceful part of our trip to Tuscany. The wine tour and hiking came with some stunning views. The bottega is convenient for grabbing food and wine, as well.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that...

Although it only works if you have a car sice it is a little ways away from the city but the countryside is beautiful! And facitliy much more than expected. Wish we spent more time at the place but we went out site seeing.

This is a fantastic hotel for the money. The room was large and comfortable and the facilities very good including two swimming pools. The accomodation is in blocks spread out around the very nice grounds and the staff were very helpful. The location is a fair way from Florence up in the mountains which makes it peaceful and quiet - just the job. Buffet meal with a man with a guitar on the Thursday was very good. Highly recommended.

Rural and picturesque place to stay. However as I said to the receptionist (owner?) there is no way I’m paying 9€ to rent a pool towel when there’s a towel in the room. I’d advise them to stop with this blatant scam which was offputting. Breakfast was ok and I liked the pool area though small and somewhat dated it is all charming.

This is a lovely hotel with very accommodating and friendly staff. It's situated outside of Florence about 20 minutes by car, however the hotel runs a shuttle bus, but last one back from Florence is at 7.30 p.m. which means you miss the night time atmosphere and views in the city unless you pay for a cab. The hotel is sat in beautiful surrounding and gardens with paved walks through the grounds.

One of the best hotels I have stayed - small, 'boutique' feel. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - they seemed to want us to enjoy our stay ! Stayed 2 x one night, so had 2 different rooms - both quite different, but both excellent quality & space. Dinner in restaurant was superb; breakfast buffet excellent. c. 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence, maybe 30 mins to Ponte Vecchio, or use the shuttle bus or taxis. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !

Lovely new modern hotel in a fab location. Easy walking distance from everywhere. Breakfast, WiFi, Coffee 24/7 and mini bar topped up each day included in your room price. Good value for money. Would stay there again.

This is a lovely horel in a quiet area of the old historic area. This staff were very welcoming and gave us a map and gave us advice on restaurants and attractions. A very comfortable bed with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Grat breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.
