Lovely stay at Stone Villa. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. The rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lovely hospitality tray which was topped up each day was very welcome after a long day sightseeing. Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with the Old Barn and it is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and included things that we usually have to bring with us when staying away, such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soap, salt and pepper. The hosts provided a pint of milk on arrival, with tea, coffee and sugar and some homemade bara breth which was lovely. This was my second visit to Liverpool and the first time using a hotel, I was drawn in by the outside look of the hotel then when I saw the rooms and then how good the price was I was sold. When I got there it was clear the area was quite close to anything I'd need and less than 10 minutes from central station which was perfect. Excellent standard of hotel. Really liked the room, dinner, breakfast, atmosphere. The only minor negatives were the amount of listed TV channels which didn't work, no radio stations and our AC didn't seem to function although we didn't mention it to staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Great first impressions upon arrival, interior decor makes it feel luxurious and staff were attentive; nothing was too much trouble. Lack of parking nearby is the only downside and was more because of how bad the weather was, but convenient for walking into the center in the evening.
