I had a wonderful stay at The Dana on Mission Bay! The location is unbeatable—right on the water and just minutes from SeaWorld and downtown San Diego. My room was clean, spacious, and had beautiful views of the bay. The pools were relaxing, and I loved being able to walk along the waterfront. Firefly Eatery & Bar was a highlight with great food and amazing views. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I’d definitely recommend The Dana to anyone visiting San Diego for a mix of relaxation and convenience.

"We had a great time visiting to celebrate our 31 year anniversary! The grand kids came by and loved the beach. We were also able to walk to Belmont Park and Mission beach. We will definitely stay again!"
"There were a lot of complaints that it was loud, but we were there during the surf competition across the street, and we stayed Friday through Monday night, it didn’t seem loud at all. A great place and would recommend it again. It is small, but it’s convenient and clean."
"It was comfortable and welcoming. The evening activity was karaoke and had a really welcoming and encouraging vibe. I enjoyed talking with the other guests from around the world. This hostel was mellow and I got a great night sleep. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach!
One downside is that you can’t park overnight in the Belmont lot across the street. I didn’t notice the signs and paid a hefty towing fee. My own fault. "
"Entire" Luxury Beach Home Steps from Mission Beach with Hot Tub -Not a Condo!

"The property was perfect for our needs. We had 10 adults that stayed in the property, and 2 others that stayed nearby and visited during the day. We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and work with. This property is great for larger groups.The only nit-picky item that we had was that the fridge and freezer and the floors were a little unclean upon checkin. Nothing major, just small spills in the fridge/freezer that had not been cleaned, and sand everywhere on the floors (it's right by the beach, so there's going to be sand everywhere :D). We easily cleaned these up during our stay, and they didn't detract from our experience."
