Stayed with my husband and 17 year old son for 5 nights. We liked the retro vibe of the freshly renovated Kings Inn. Staff was very friendly, Hotel very clean, Security at night, parking was good, nice pool, breakfast was very good, too! Would choose it again.
We showed up with a 17 foot uhaul and towing my car. Asked about special parking and it was an extra $25 that charter busses normally use. Their staff helped us park our vehicle safely.
Any questions we had were answered right awayl
for the price this was a very clean and really nicely decorated room. Whoever did the make-over did a great job - kind of funky and cute - I loved the chairs on the wall for a closet hangar - hilarious - but it worked.
did a great job of renovation with very little money - good work !
Nice amenities as well.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our daughter at SDSU. This hotel is close to the school and right off highway 8 so a good location for that. We didn't use any of the facilities but the pool area looked tired. The room was quiet and well appointed though a bit small. It worked for our needs. Bathroom is not spacious but functional. We would stay here again due to the location and price. Front desk personnel were great!
Stayed at this place couldn't get a better room anywhere whole city was booked so we get the super 8 staff was OK room was standard great location easy freeway access overall an ok stay would stay again if need be
This hotel is what it is for the 2.5 star rating it has. Overall the room was fine but I rated the cleanliness and comfort at 3 as it smelled strongly of cleaners when we first went it. My friend said the carpet felt wet though and it was dank and humid the whole time. Upon our return after the concert the room no longer smelled like cleaners. It smelled more like urine so we put towels down on the ground to walk on. The beds didn't smell or anything and no bed bugs so we were fine for our one night stay.
Spain’s foothold in California began here with Mission San Diego de Alcalá, a tourist-friendly church built in 1769. Nearby, Old Town’s historic buildings feature trendy bars and restaurants. Other major attractions include SeaWorld, Qualcomm Stadium, and Mission Bay Park, the nation’s largest waterfront park. South in Point Loma, the Cabrillo National Monument offers panoramic views of San Diego.
