This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street. Modern hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff next to a lake and a retail park. Rooms were basic but clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Good pub quality food and fair selection of drinks. Free parking for guests. Very good value for money and for what we required, a cheap overnight stopover, it was ideal.
