"Enjoyed a 2 night dinner bed and breakfast deal which represented incredible value for money. The staff throughout the hotel were polite and welcoming, the room was a good size, and patio doors onto grass was just what we had asked for to enjoy the good weather. Whilst the room felt a little tired, it was comfortable and functional. The restaurant staff were incredibly polite and professional, and the inclusive 3 courses much better than expected. Breakfast was comprehensive also with full and continental offerings. The pool was warm and facilities looked comprehensive, if not all used. Views to the golf course were stunning, and the driving range offered free loan of clubs for the range. Overall great value package and enjoyable stay."

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. They have done an excellent job of providing comfortable rooms while maintaining the character of the prison. The double cell room I had was a large room with a comfortable bed and with ample storage for a suitcase. The breakfast was excellent with the hot items cooked fresh to order."

"This is a beautiful hotel and the room was also lovely unfortunately our tv had suddenly had no signal and we could not watch the movie we started to watch when we came back to the room late or the morning news as it was still not working. Reported to the reception who apologised but this was not up to the standard as it should be for stunning hotel like this. "
