"I liked everything about the Lodge, friendly staff, excellent service. The hot tub was excellent too. It is nice and quiet here too. I will definitely rebook in the future."
"Lovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didn’t use the pool, fitness centre or spa so can’t comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. We’ll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open."

"We had a lovely stay, our family room was a little less fancy than the rwat of the hotel but thats fine, the food was lovely and so were the staff.
The pool was nice, the area needs a little bit of a refresh and the spa was out of order but overall we had a loveky stay and will be back. "

Easy check-in/out. Also the shower gel, shampoo and handwash smelled divine.

"We stayed in room 3 and the decor is beautiful, the bed really comfortable , i would say medium /firm. Ensuite fully equipped with toiletries , towels etc. They have put in alot of care so that your needs are met. Cleanliness is excellent. I would stay again if i needed to stop over in darlington. There was no breakfast included, however there are lots of places close buy to get breakfast."

"I keep waxing lyrical about this hotel, but they never cease to deliver. I managed to get in the executive suite this time, for £112. The premier inn 5 minutes up the road is £113. For a single traveller on business there is nothing better. Breakfast is hearty, delicious, and served with a smile. You cannot ask for more "
