Over the last 40 years my wife and I have stayed in many hotels around the world. It would not be overstating it to say that our stay at the Mansion Merida Boutique Hotel was among the best we have stayed in. We were met on arrival by the owner, Raoul, who told us that the property, laid out around two courtyards, one containing a most welcome pool, used to be his grandfathers house. The rooms and the service were exceptional. A visit to Merida would not be complete without a night or two here.

Amazingly cool, boutique hotel just a few blocks (10 mins walk) from the main square. Lovely pool, lobby and bar area. Staff very friendly. No parking or valet service available. We left car outside the property (only overnight) but staff seemed a bit muddled as to whether we might get a ticket etc. Otherwise all was wonderful

Merida is a beautiful city with very friendly people. Lots to see and do around the city and this area of Mexico. The Hotel was a good location to get into town (20 minute walk to main square or a very short bus journey). The staff were friendly and everything is very clean. Roof top Pool is lovely and great views over the town. Beware of happy hour as it is only selective drinks per day and it was not clearly shown. Also strange atmosphere up there at happy hour - if you like like loud music...

A unique boutique hotel in Merida, 10 min walk from the main square. The room was clean and the property was generally well-maintained, however, we did not use the pool as it consistently had foliage in it. The hotel offered massages, facials, and pedicures, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

During these months, the weather is wonderfully cooler and drier, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for relaxing by the pool or enjoying day trips to archaeological sites like Uxmal. This period is the high season, so you'll find the hotels bustling and the city vibrant with activity, which is superb for those who appreciate a lively option and don't mind paying a bit more for premium comfort.
This pleasant weather means you can comfortably explore the city's historic architecture, stroll through the bustling markets, or take guided tours without the intense heat and humidity of other times of the year. It's an excellent time for couples looking for a romantic escape or families wanting comfortable conditions for sightseeing.
