"Reception was friendly and helpful and the room smelt and looked fresh.The shower recess had red mould on the lower wall tiles and grout, the shower screen was faulty and the shiny floor tiles very slippery when wet. My last stay was 9 years ago and it still looks the same, "dated". There was not pets policy but one guest blatantly has a small handbag dog, and the quiet curfew was not observed or policed. Overall not what I was expecting. "

"This is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. My only complaint was that we were told we had to go down to the local cafe for breakfast. A breakfast which we had pre booked online. We were given a a voucher for this and told they were not operating on that day for breakfast in the hotel. The cafe was not too far away, but required a set of steps to get up to there which was painful for my knees and the breakfast while adequate was not served up in a particularly nice setting and was certainly not up to the standard of a five star cafe. It should be made clear on their site that in certain days the restaurant is closed, so that patrons have the option of going to a cafe of their own choice for breakfast. "

"We stayed in the family room with 3 young children. Bedlinen was clean but there are parts of the room which looks like it hasnt been cleaned for a long time, such as big spiderwebs near the blinds, thick layer of dust on a bar behind the toilet. The towels were fresh everyday and they empty out the bin as well. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in a superior 2 bedroom cabin, lovely leafy outlook from the cabin, with a view of the creek. Cabin was spacious, clean and well equipped, the only thing it lacked was an oven, though it did have a stove top and microwave, comfy bed, good quality linen and toiletries, comfy sofa and good wifi, easy parking next to the villa. Would definately stay again."
