Find the Best Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast

House was beautiful. Room and facilities were spotless. The hosts were brilliant as well. I’d missed going out for dinner in the area so they kindly made me an excellent grilled cheese sandwich. And when they realised I’d be walking half an hour the next day to my next stop, even dropped me off. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be staying here.

We stayed for 4 nights at The Village Inn. Robin and Claire were excellent hosts and very helpful about places to visit and to eat. it was a lovely old house, very comfortable with a pleasant garden and sitting rooms. Breakfast freshly cooked by Robin was delicious. We would certainly return.

Beautiful spacious and elegant bedroom - super comfortable bed with great quality sheets. Lisa was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts although not exactly to our taste were plentiful and there was always the more simple option of fruit juice and yogurt with granola. Good coffee and we appreciated being able to help ourselves when we came back in after a day out. Parking was also very much appreciated and the location was perfect to walk down to Thames St and the waterfront

Absolutely first class accommodation in an extremely scenic setting - wonderful views of both mountains and lakes this coupled with top class friendly service from our hosts Terry and Paul made Maguire house one of the highlights of our holiday

Brilliant place to stay, lovely building, room and gardens, perfectly placed for the beach and other adventures. Breakfasts are fantastic, a real treat! And the owners Marco and Angelo and their team were absolutely on their game, great attention to detail, amazing service and generally lovely people! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Superb hospitality from a lovely couple. Breakfast had to be the best ever. Room warm, cosy and with a comfy bed (even if it was a bit high for my short legs). Molton & Brown toiletries. Wifi was fine even though there were warnings that it could be hit and miss because of being at the end of the peninsula, miles from the mainland. The area is lovely and this building is full of history but they have managed to fit modern air-conditioning into this 226 year old building.

What an exquisite place to stay! Large room, beautiful furnishings, lovely grounds, gorgeous home cooked breakfasts. And Amy is such a warm friendly and helpful host.

Our room was clean and extremely comfortable. We were met with a lovely welcome. Loretta,our host was amazing. She went the extra mile to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. Nothing was too much trouble for her including my special diet.The breakfasts were great especially the muffins!! I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a perfect place to stay for a holiday.

We had such a wonderful stay here. We were given the Cliff Suite which is in a cottage across from the main house. I would happily live in there, the decor was beautiful and the jet tub was big enough for 3! We arrived late after our flighty was delayed and the keys left out for us. The breakfast was delicious and different each day. It was lovely to have a coffee by the fire. We will definitely be back if we return to the area.

What a great place, room was excellent with great facilities

We only had an opportunity to stay one night stay but overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was really nice apart from the wierd location of the television . The bar was "like a real bar " and the lady serving was great ( as was the live entertainment ). Our dining experience has room for improvement although the staff were really nice .
