"Gated, just a block or so from the water (although hill is steep.) Everything we could have needed was provided in the kitchen, including basics like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. No soap or shampoo in the shower, though. Know that the toilet is, like the bedrooms, accessible off the back wall of the open air living space, not directly accessible from the bedrooms, which have a shower and sink each. When the description says "shower only", it literally means the shower and the sink, no toilet....

We were three couples and enjoyed plenty of lounging and dining space indoors and out. Clean, spacious, private, nicely equipped. Lovely pool, with privacy fencing. Full kitchen. We had giant roaches(!) in one of the bathrooms for two consecutive nights with the host not doing anything about them, so that we moved out. Needless to say: we want our money back."

"Lovely garden and stunning views. Practical house that is very comfortable. Little pool that is great for cooling down. Very private even though there are other houses on the property. The road from Bellefontaine, even though it is steep, is no problem at all. We drove a Citroën C1 automatic. Automatic gear is recomended! We would definately come back and recommend CouleurManguier.com"

"I would definitely recommend this villa as a place to stay when looking to experience Martinique. The photos and description are good representations of the property; both Tania (the host) and Marie Ange (the support on property) are responsive, helpful and very nice to deal with. Both Le Francois and Vauclin are short drives and have everything you need. Beautiful beaches like Les Salines and St Anne are easy drives to the south and Tartane is an easy drive to the north. "
