"We had a lovely clean room with a great view over the town. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Tea and Nespresso machine in the room all worked well. It is a good walk into town if a bit downhill on the way there and obviously up on the way back (hence the good view. Parking was ample if a bit tight on space, probably best not to arrive during peak bar hours. There was a small problem with our breakfast order but this was remedied when it came to light and the staff were very apologetic. Would deffinitly stay there again."

"Fantastic hotel, stunning location with some rooms literally on the racecourse. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Swimming pool closes early (8pm) but otherwise everything exceeded expectations. Delicious breakfast too, with some fresh items cooked to order."

"This property is stunning. It has great access to the small villages nearby and its own property is situated on lots of beautiful acreage. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff contributed substantially to making this a wonderful day."

"Beautiful building but lack of attention to detail. Upon arrival in spa, went to make a cup of hot tea and there was no sugar or stir sticks or spoons. Wanted to enjoy the hot tub before massage and it was like a barely warm bath plus the jets were spraying up at your face so you couldn’t sit without getting water in the face. Two lockers didn’t work. The massage staff was friendly but it was definitely fluff and buff- not much pressure so that was a disappointment. The main restaurant was fully booked and only time we could eat at the casual bar was 9 pm- so we had no dinner. Spa suite was spacious and well designed but the lights didn’t work and the hairdryer back piece kept falling off. Not impressed."
