"We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!"

"Stayed with 10 friends with average age of 60. Photos of house interior on Vrbo are generally accurate - those on the website for Wheathill show different furniture and soft furnishings. Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "Room was pretty clean but felt like I had walked into a time paradox as the room felt like it was from the 90's, bed skirt was damaged and the bath also heavily stained and damaged as well. Quiet location and slept pretty well but I always search for a hotel with a gym however expedia needs to start filtering hotels like this out as a basic room costing into 3 figures and then im being asked to pay to use the gym which is totally out of order in my opinion. The bar was obscenely expensive (£4.85 for a soft drink) and the bar tender dipping the glass into the ice as well a massive H&S issue so didnt bother with dinner and breakfast was also not included either. As a whole not the worst place ive been but unlikely to stop here again"
