Good hotel close to Manchester airport.

£110 for 4 adults - 2 huge bedrooms. Excellent value for money and literally 3 minutes drive from Manchester airport.

Best Value for The Airport

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: The hotel has a shuttle bus that you have to book although is there are note than 2 of you use a taxi it's cheaper.
Cons: Generally the hotel looks a little tired although you can see money is being spent on it to improve things
Location: What's to know about the location it's close to the airport.
The Britannia has become our choice for the airport as it is always the best value. We have stayed at them all by now and find this place comfortable, clean and adequate the night before or after a flight. You can read other reviews and see complaints that it's quite noisy because of the road. It's not in reality that bad if you make sure your sliding windows are fully locked home. At the end of the day other hotels are by the runways so we don't see the difference except in our pockets.

Not one single good thing

Posted 22-Sep-2016
Light turned off constantly while in my room. The mattress kept being uncovered by the size of the conver, being very unhigienic. Card kept being deactivated. Elevators would stop for someone to go down while you went up, or stopped at every level (I was in the fifth). WiFi did not get to my room, was extremely slow, not being able to have a Whatsapp call or Skype or even be on Facebook. Did not work at all 2/3 nights, even in the lobby. Rooms not clean with some dead bugs on the corners.

Convenient for airport

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: Location to airport
Cons: Car parking
Location: Only a couple of junctions up from the airport
Arrived in the evening, check in good, efficient. Room clean, bed comfortable. The only thing that might stop us booking again was lack of space to park. We only managed to find one space and that was very narrow, only just got in. Our flight was early so breakfast wasn't available, even though it was included in the room price.

OK for Price

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: location. 5 minutes from where I needed to be in the morning.
Cons: Room a bit shabby though clean, bed had seen better days and made strange noises when I rolled over.
For price was OK though not sure I would stay again if there is a suitable alternative. I would not bother with the cooked breakfast as this was poor quality and cold.

Airport transfer hotel

Posted 05-Jul-2016 on Hotels
One night stay to get to morning flight from Manchester Airport (MAN). Restaurant onsite is friendly but limited in selection and service. Free wifi, but you are not, I learned, guaranteed a signal outside of the lobby. Shuttle to airport was actually a shared taxi. It was safe and clean and convenient, but not much else.
