We checked in around 1PM tired from our flight, we went up to the room and the keys didn’t work, a housekeeper opened the door for us. We were given a small room with two beds together. We were 3. Air conditioner did not work. We took a nap for 5 hours and decided to come back downstairs and ask about the keys, the AC and the possibility to upgrade, since the room was small. The receptionist couldn’t find me by my room #. So I panicked and suggested him to look me up by last name. We were given the wrong room and they told us that the air conditioner is turned off by management and that on Monday (the next day) they will have a meeting about it and see if they can turn it on. They refused to upgrade us for the inconvenience and was told to come back tomorrow and speak To management, but we were given a bottle sparkling drink, valued at 4.45 euros. Upon check out, we spoke to them about our concerns again and was told we need to pay for late check out anyways, 20 Euros. There is no parking and their answer Was always “it’s just how it is here” The guys at the bar were great, besides them this hotel has nothing impressive, hospitality and the willingness to help was none existent to these employees.

The room I was allocated was no more than a storage room with a shower. I paid €300 for 3 nights. I complained at reception shortly after check in & was told there was nothing they could do that night. I went back at 8am before breakfast and was basically told ‘not our problem, contact hotels.com’ the receptionist was borderline rude. They still insisted that they didn’t have another room to move me to do I requested a refund. After over an hour on the phone to hotels.com & then trying to contact the hotel (the phone was literally ringing as I was stood there & I was telling them it’s hotels.com) they didn’t bother to answer it. I eventually got to downs to a manager after 11am who stood there & said nothing. No apology from him or the receptionist, just a blank face. He eventually agreed to refund 2 nights instead of the 3 I paid for. I’ve never been to this side of the island before & I’ve got to say it tainted my love for Majorca. I visited 3 times last year & 3 times this year, I’ve never known such horrible customer service, rude and no empathy whatsoever. I’ll stick to my usual resort in the future! Single bed facing a door, no balcony just a window where there was no privacy as private flats were facing. NOT worth €100 per night! It was basically a storage room with a bed thrown in it. Shouldn’t even be sold as a room.

The room we got had a terrible smell that came from the drain of the shower, it smell like sewer. The rooms are very small so the smell of the bathroom made the whole room stinky. We reported this to Expedia and the front desk of the hotel. The receptionist wasn’t helpful and her attitude was not friendly or customer service at all. We left the hotel after one night because we couldn’t stand the smell of the room, it made us cough. I asked the receptionist to submit a report and copy me in the email. She didn’t do it. The cleaning team came to the room to take a look, and they agree the room was stinky. We asked Expedia for a refund of the extra nights we were not staying and the hotel refused to give us a refund. It is very frustrating and disappointing that the hotel is not giving us the refund. The reason we left the hotel is because of the room smell like sewer. It is not fair for customers to pay for a hotel to stay and receive a stinky room and poor customer service.

Things we liked about Hotel HM Alma Beach: conveniently by the beach, walkable to many restaurants, the hotel breakfast we included with our reservation was great. What can be improved: early check-in is not available even when the room is ready. The hotel strictly insists not to give out the room prior to checkin time. Noise from the hallway and stairwells can be annoying. You can hear every step and sound from the hallway and stairway in your room.

Estoy encantada con mi estancia en Alma Beach. El hotel es hermoso muy bien localizado, los trabajadores muy atentos y amables. Mi único problema fue que al yo reservaré en Línea pedí habitación para dos personas pero la persona que viajaba era sólo yo. Ahí mismo decía que el precio era para dos personas. Al llegar me dijeron que tenia que pagar poco más de trescientos euros por la otra persona. Aunque le mostré ala recepcionista que en mi recibo decía que el precio era para dos persona tube que pagar más cual para mi no tenía ningún sentido .

Loved the hotel. Nicely furnished and pool on the roof top was amazing. Breakfast was the best breakfast buffet in a hotel we have had. But the rooms are not quiet, we did hear quite a bit like people in the corridors, having showers, talking in the room next door etc. but the decor and proximity to bus stops was great.

Not a bad hotel but photos are misleading
Basic room and amenities. Only side sea view obstructed by unpleasantly looking buildings. Despite what the photos show neither the rooms or the rooftop pool have marina view. They only have side and restricted sea view. Photos are misleading and maybe intentionally as nowhere it is listed that rooms have side sea view. Breakfast restaurant has view to a small swimming pool. Not a bad hotel but pricy given to what it offers.

Very chic nice hotel.. they had a great buffet breakfast and a roof top pool. we went early so there was no crowd. only problem is they dont offer room service and the staff is not fluent in english. they pick the words you say to understand you, weird since this is an island resort. they was some places to eat if you are also looking for a fresh seafood. the room was clean and the amenities were great. i recommend this hotel with family. but if you wanna party get a hotel to palmanova close to magaluf. this hotel is close to airport and about 15mins from the town center

The room was the smallest I’ve ever seen. The reception is hidden away and the receptionist was very short. There was a tiny room to change with a shower that didn’t work. The pool had 20 beds maximum for a hotel that has over 200 rooms. The pool bar was unmanned constantly. The room’s bathroom was not clean in the sink and all around it. The view was of a wall 2 yards from the window. Breakfast was good. No facilities to change when leaving. After staying at another HM Hotel in Arsenal last year, we were disappointed beyond words.

It was everything we expected for a European hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent and there two pools located on the main floor and on the rooftop. The room small but it was we expected that for a European hotel. Great location! The beach was very close and so where the restaurants. Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay so wonderful
