there were 4 of us in the party that stayed at the hotel; my wife and I and our son and daughter, all were very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort that the rooms offered. The rooms were adjoining with a connecting door, which made it easy for us to spend more of the time together. Beds were very comfortable. Another good feature of the hotel, was the close proximity of a very good restaurant All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again.

Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.

Little bit expensive when purchasing food and drinks. 1 pint was about £4 and a meal was averaging about £13 and you didn’t really get much on the plate.

Always a wonderful place to stay in South Wales.

Me, my partner and daughter loved this place so much! Such an attentive host and the breakfast was lovely. Room was gorgeous and so quiet, perfect place to rest our heads. Would recommend to everyone

The Hotel is a 15 century house which has been sympathetically restored retaining many of the original features. The bedrooms in the main house were charming, very clean with a very fresh en suite and lovely white bed linen and towels. 3 Adults one child and a dog, three nights, very tight budget. I did not fancy camping as I didn't want to get wet and cold, my knees demand a high bed and my bladder wants a loo...well, when it wants a loo! We couldn't fault this - from the welcome, through a comfortable sleep to a friendly great breakfast. Lovely place, well-run, perfectly clean, and very friendly. The views from the rooms are extensive, yet it's a short walk to a very acceptable pub with good beer and meals. Definitely one to go back to.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And was in a fab location for what we needed.

We were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. Great pool and all the facilities. Also it’s peaceful rather than being right in the city centre. We loved it xx

The staff were friendly and professional. We held a very private wake at the venue with a number of relatives staying. The Hospitality Host Person who looked after us was excellent. The Duty Manager was Great The food was excellent and prices were good value for money. Beer Kept nice

Lovely room with an amazing view. Facilities were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches, such as the dressing gowns. Also I had asked if there would be any oat/soya milk available as I have an intolerance, when we arrived there was not only oat milk but gluten and dairy free cereals, biscuits and yoghurt. My first time staying here and I was very impressed, the venue itself is beautiful, the whole place including the grounds were very clean and tidy, the decor of the place was lovely and very imaginative. My room was fantastic, very large, clean and had all the facilities. Dinner and breakfast were just perfect. I cant fault the place in any way, the staff were all very polite, perfect.

A little off the beaten track but accommodation was excellent. All staff were friendly and courteous. Room was spacious with a great shower. Pub below/next door had a good selection of real ales.
