"We had a lovely time. Relaxing view from our room. Even though we upgraded the room needs a little improvement but a good size and clean. Pool and leisure facilities well kept and easy to use. Bar meals and wine very pricey. Staff were all polite and helpful. No air con. Would stay again if in the area."

"Rooms were very clean and bed comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. First morning breakfast had been sitting on hotplates too long, but second morning food very good. Just your luck when you arrive. Evening meals excellent. Enjoyed a few drinks by the lake watching the ducks. Loved the peacefulness. Would visit again"

"Another good visit and stay at The Swan Hotel in Stafford. Very clean and comfortable. Good parking. Great location. Two minor niggles. 1). No complimentary bottle of water. 2). No shelf in shower in which to put shampoo and soap bottles. Pleased when I popped in a day after my two day visit had ended to inquire about an Apple plug and cable I’d mislaid. Staff had found it in my room and kept it back in case the owner (me in this instance) returned to ask about it."

"Booked as somewhere to stay whilst visiting Oulton Park for the weekend. Always worry when booking a budget style hotel, but was very happy with the standard of the room and facilities. Also good to know there are adequate parking spaces."
