"We loved our stay at Coco Palm! It is an older/more traditional style resort but that was part of the charm for us. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Lovely pool, bar and restaurant and delicious Thai food options. All the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, made amazing cocktails and great food. Our room was so clean every day and the beach was always spotless. Big shout out to Nèung at the bar - thank you for all the cocktails and great chat! We hope to be back one day."

Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

This is a magical place that really lets you escape and unwind. The setting is one of the most dramatic I've experienced (only topped by Sugar Beach in St Lucia) - the villas and communal buildings dotted on a steep jungle mountainside that drops down to a secluded fine sandy beach. When you combine the Four Seasons perfectionism with the innate kindness and warmth of the Thai people, the service is as good as it gets. The villas are private and large with great character. We stayed for 11 days in a sea view villa April 2016 for my sons wedding . Really good hotel, facilities and grounds are very well thought out and the staff were always very welcoming, with excellent service. Very relaxing place to be and they make it easy, helped by spacious layout of things like sunbeds and the large very nice pool facilities and beach facilities/ activiites. Very good standard of food in 2 restaurants (not cheap though) and we looked forward to their comprehensive breakfast...

I researched all hotels on Koh Samui before booking this hotel. I was not disappointed.
Everything you could possibly want is provided. The staff anticipate anything else & have a genuine desire to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
I have stayed in some super hotels but this surpasses all of them.

I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for an enjoyable time. Lovely room and pool with the beach close by.
A large spread was available for breakfast. A very nice start to the day.
Occasionally I found a staff member that could not grasp what I was asking in English.
I treated myself to a manicure at the Zense Spa. I regretted my choice as I could have done a much better job with a pair of nail clippers.

This is a lovely property with a great bunch of staff. Room was spacious and kept clean.
It’s a bit further from fisherman’s village than I anticipated but exceptional we’re always happy to arrange a taxi for us . We ate lunch here twice and it was great, good quality and served with a smile.

Stayed at Zazen on recommendation of a friend. We loved the location, garden villa and the superb service. Secluded but not isolated so able to walk to other restaurants and bars. The breakfasts at the hotel are amazing and the service from the staff outstanding. We would have no hesitation on staying here again.

What a little gem this boutique hotel turned out to be!! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like I was a VIP guest. The staff were so lovely and very quickly became my friends, particularly Kurgze on reception who was super friendly and efficient..nothing was to much trouble!
The hotel was clean and just beautiful! They had some renovation work going on but it didn’t disturb me much and they were very attentive to check that it didn’t.

The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and clean. Staff were helpful especially Tai, she was professional and polite, always available to offer help. The food was nice. They offer take away breakfast also which was helpful when we had an early morning ferry to catch. The pool area is small but beautiful and the rooms were amazing and clean. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

AMAZING private villa, quiet, clean, spacious and great hospitality. Staffs are so friendly and prompt with any request. I can't be happier staying her for 2 nights, relaxing. Breakfast in the villa is the best! Private pool is great. The hotel is so close to the public beach (very quiet). Will definitely go back there again next time!!

Beautiful hotel with great service, but a couple of things to know.
Built into the hillside which gives incredible views. But means a lot of steps and very steep slopes.
Away from the resorts which is nice and peaceful. But does mean you need to get the shuttle if you want to go out. The shuttle is fine, runs hourly and takes ten minutes to get to the beach so very easy. There is also an excellent private limousine service run by the hotel which costs under £10 to get to most places...

After endless hours of researching locations, I settled for the beach town of Mae Nam. I was drawn by the promise of white sand beaches, clear blue waters and astounding views of Koh Phangan.
My primary objectives was to choose the perfect location to relax without the crowds and noise whilst not being too secluded. Having my own private pool and garden area to enjoy sunbathing in privacy was a top priority. Above all was good value for money!

This was a really nice hotel. The beach was very pretty and not too crowded. The room was big and clean. The staff was great and went above and beyond to accommodate me. My taxi was not coming until 5 pm the day I checked out. Although I couldn't get a late checkout because the hotel was full, I was able to leave my luggage at the front and continue using all the facilities throughout the day, including the beach chairs and towels, the bicycle and the shower. I also had a problem with my plane...

We stayed in a deluxe villa which was high over the complex with stunning views over the sea and the sunsets were amazing. The pool area is lovely and right on the beach but we did have to walk down the beach a bit to get into the sea as it is a little rocky by the hotel. The restaurant for breakfast had a good choice but we found the evening meals expensive and the buffet night was a bit of a rip off. The only reason we ate in the evening on two occasions was because it was pouring and it's...
