Room was great. The sofa bed had a good mattress and was made for us upon arrival. It did feel like a mystery game going thru so many doors and codes to find the room. Good location!

A very good chain hotel for tech savvy travelers. All contacts can be done online without seeing staff. It is very clean and quiet with double windows to block street noise. Close to train station and walkable to city attractions. A lot of eating choices nearby. Highly recommended.

Check in was more complicated than usual with multiple security codes. Room was small but neat and fronts along a main city street. (Was somewhat noisy at night as Madrid seemingly never sleeps) No maid service provided during multiple night stay. Close proximation and walking distance to many cultural sites and good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

We would like to mention that our establishment has different types of rooms (all for private use) with private bathrooms, with different sizes (up to 30 square meters) that are prepared to meet the needs of all types of travelers. It is true that we are located on Atocha Street, one of the main streets in Madrid with a certain pace of life, but it is also an area with restricted traffic, so the pace of life at night is calmer. All our facilities are new and allow the acoustic influence to be reduced to a minimum. We hope to have you back with us soon. Best regards, Uma Suites Atocha

Limited accessibility to the reception desk. It opens 10:00-6:00, so if you arrive earlier, good luck to you! Coffee is served during these hours as well, not earlier in the morning when you really need it before you go out for the day. Rooms were not cleaned in our three night/three day stay. Location is impeccable, everything around you including even important museums and parks. This is not a hotel but a kind of a combination between AirBnB and motel.

This place was cozy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very clean and the room had nice lighting and atmosphere. One perk is that the tv had a setting to connect your device and cast your own streaming app. For us, that made the stay very enjoyable for coming back during siesta hours in the afternoon. My only real complaint (and this could be a deal breaker for some…) we were in room 14 and the mattress was abysmal. We could few all the springs. Comfortable pillows, large bed, awful mattress. It may just have been our room, I don’t know… but it may be worth requesting not to be put in room 14 in case it’s better in another room. We still managed to sleep ok and enjoyed our time in Madrid immensely, but please be aware of that. The other issue to be aware of is that the building is historic and is currently being refurbished. This was not a big deal to us and didn’t cause us any real discomfort because we understand the need for these types of things and it’s out of management’s control but the windows are partially obstructed by scaffolding. It’s been happening for a while and will probably go on for a good while.

Amazing place to stay
We had a fantastic stay at Uma Suites! The room was spacious and tidy. Alongside this the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The location was great - it felt safe and was close to a beautiful park (El retiro Park). The reason it isn’t rated a 10 is only due to a weird smell in the bathroom that came and went (might be because of the pipes).

The room was very well adapted for a family of 4, and clean at all times.The location of this hotel is very convenient, very close to the bus stations and train stations, it feels safe to walk during the day and at night. We definitely will book at Uma suites again.

Very convenient location to the train station, and clear access instructions were provided. The room was bigger than I expected. The building is under construction, but there was no noise or disturbance while we were there.

There was a major contruction in the building. We got stuck in the elevator. Nobody answer the alarm. Towel had a hole on it. The building door were not locked during out stay.

The localisation was perfect! Close to everything. The room and the bathroom was Ok exactly as advertised and the staff very friendly. But we struggled to fal asleep since the bed was extremely firm (like way to hard)

Uma Suite is fantastic, clean, big rooms, friendly staff, walking distances to most popular areas. You can walk to the Achota Train station 5 min away . Highly recommend it. The only down fault , it’s under construction so we kept our balcony doors closed during the day . We were mostly out of the room during the stay so it wasn’t too much of a bother .

The location of the Uma Suites Atocha is excellent. Easy walking distance (with cases) from the bus stop at the Atocha Station. The 203 bus from the airport was so convenient and it only cost 5 Euro each. The description of the property is accurate. Although the Cozy room was compact it was ideal for our five night stay. Easy walk to a range of bars who offered quality food and drinks. Having breakfast at a local cafe was also a great experience. We also walked across the road and had a burger at McDonalds on the first evening, as we had arrived late at the Uma Suites Atocha. Entry to the building and our room was clearly explained in the welcome email. Overall a great experience.

No front desk or service after 6 pm. Sent a million texts with instructions for checking in online, very frustrating while traveling and having no cell service and limited wifi. No kettle, iron, or phone in room, so no way to call if you need anything (and they stress that the number is only for emergencies). When we checked out the elevator wasn’t working. We were able to store our luggage c but had to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs to get to the office. Current covered in scaffolding and construction workers woke us up early in the morning. Genuinely unpleasant stay and I regret booking here.

A fine budget stay in the heart of Madrid
Two blocks from the main Madrid train station. Four blocks from the Prado. Walk up C Santa Isabel for a great neighborhood with manyy restaraunts. Minimal service, front desk manned only from 10am to 6 pm. A fine budget stay in the heart of Madrid.

This is not a hotel but five tiny rooms on the floor of an apartment building. There is no staff. The door codes did not work, the doors we not secured. The locks were removed, missing throughout our stay. We never saw any staff in four days and three nights. We could not acess our room when we arrived and had to go to a neighboring hotel. There are no phones on this hotel with no way to contact staff. Expedia should not offer this property, it is unsafe, unsecured, with no staff or assistance of any kind.

To provide the best service, we have our staff available 24 hours a day on the telephone number indicated on the reservation confirmation and also the reception is located the same building and it is open from 10.00 to 18.00. Perfect Location in Madrid
Central hotel near Atocha Station, metro stop Estacion Del Arte. Really like the Automated check in but still a very friendly reception is open daily between 10 and 6 pm. Also coffee is available between those times. 24 HR McDonals opposite so breakfast is sorted, along with a Starbucks round the corner. Bags can be stored in a locker in reception if you have a late flightn out or you need to see the city. Room is quiet with 2 layers of glass though there is a low level of sound coming through but that is true to any hotel as central as this. Room is very clean and comfortable. I was only in it to sleep really so I am not fussed about size.
