The breakfast was adequate, the balcony was lovely & the beds were comfortable! Location was perfect, just a short uphill walk to get to the train/bus station and main square! "I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...

"The staff was very attentive. They had a nice Peruvian breakfast spread. I love the open air style of the main room and the decor was very nice. They even suggested a few good restaurants that we are going to go back to the next time in Aguas Caliente/Machu Pichu- and Terrazas del Inca will be our return stay. Thank you very much, Terrazas!"
