![So this is not really a tip as I'm sure everyone knows this location. Think of it more as me trying to encourage all of you who haven't been there already to go and see this magnificent place with your own eyes. It truly is a wonder of the world!

A few things to keep in mind though. First of all, there are a limited number of entry tickets per day so it's essential to book ahead. "I could see 3 or 4 ruins from my patio.staff was always helpful.my room was only 1/2 block off the town square but was very quiet.i had booked 2 days but stayed an extra 2: Rooms are not fancy but very clean and comfortable "

"Overall the property was great and I would definitely stay here again when I return to Machu Picchu. I was really happy with this hotel. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Not many amenities provided but this is understandable being we are in the mountains. Staff was very nice and helpful. The front desk was not staffed the hours I walked by, but the restaurant staff could handle double duty if needed. They did meet me at the train station and escort me to the hotel. Which we above and beyond. As for the surroundings. There were plenty of restaurants and bars near by, lots of shopping and scenic tours you can do. This was a great hotel, I do recommend! "
