"Fabulous location and warm welcome. Our room, the Zodiac room, was large, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It was very hot but there was already a fan in the room. My partner had a back massage and said it was great, as we're the facilities. There is no out door jacuzzi due to building works and it didn't spoil our time there. The restaurant was a little pricey but the food, service and vino very good. We will come back 😁👍"

"This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in The Bede room which was beautiful, cottage style in decor with the bathroom including whirlpool upstairs. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, food was excellent. There is are also great outdoor spaces. Hollie, the owner was the perfect hostess. This a lovely, pretty little village which also has another pub. This too has a restaurant and we ate there our second night; again the food excellent but very different to the Old White Hart. It is nice to have a choice. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, we would definitely return if in the area. You have Rutland water, largest man-made reservoir very close by, nice walks and other things to do."

"Clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast was as advertised and our room was perfect for our needs. Easy to find and free, plentiful parking. Mainly seems to cater for business clientele and does its job well for a very reasonable price."

"Great location in scenic country village, I’ve been a repeat hotel and restaurant customer for 5 yrs- always very satisfied. Rooms clean and comfortable, however the standout features are the wonderful attentive and friendly staff team, and the quality and variety of food encompassing multiple Indian dishes and also an “english pub food” menu. Recent revamp has seen it get better and every visit theres another improvement been made. Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed !"

"Had a great stay, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. The pool and spa area were very nice. I wasn’t aware until after I had booked the use of the pool was an extra charge. Also parking wasn’t free which was also not expected. Overall would stay again but would have to factor in the extra costs"
