hotel was lovely very clean and staff very friendly. food was great as I am a bit of a picky eater there was lots on menu for me to choose from.

We had a WONDEFUL stay. I have to admit, when we arrived, we were not at all sure, but within a short period of time, it became very apparent that we had made a good choice. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and a huge bed, very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, save one (which was a terrible mistake, btw), but he next evening we were back at the Balcony Restaurant, where the service & food were impeccable. Stayed overnight with my mother, we were very impressed. Breakfast was lovely, our room was very comfortable with a sea view, would definitely recommend

Was disappointed that the room was in the courtyard and not part of the main building, but it was convenient as it was near the car park and easy to access with our cases etc. We had a superior room which had a king size bed, fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Handy for your own drink (wine etc.). The carpet and paintwork was not very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The breakfasts were excellent. We will certainly stay at the Furzedown next time we come to Great Yarmouth.

All three agree, very warm welcome, especially as delayed and very late arrival. Staff all welcoming . Looked after nicely after long journey. breakfast was superb. A very nice hotel, to coin a phrase "exactly as it says on the can" Obviously does weddings, I would think very very well. Stay here anytime when this way again. Thanks.

The staff definitely had the wow factor, we were treated like royalty and my kids were made to feel really special. Good gluten free selection at breakfast.

We picked this hotel at random whilst travelling towards Norwich just expecting an ordinary little pub. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to a roomy room with a large en suite. Also deciding to have dinner we were served a beautifully presented meal which would compete favorably with many of the restaurants in the area and beyond. The staff were friendly and well versed in the history of the area.

The Hotel staff were warm and very welcoming. The food was fantastic, apart from small portions. I had fish and chips was beautiful but I had 14 chips😩

The room was huge and bed very comfortable, and the pub itself had great food. Really nice breakfast too. You can go for nice walks from the door too.

Perfect stay again, only wish we could have stayed longer. Really can't wait to go back!
