"A lovely property and really quirky. I stayed for one night and found it to be very welcoming. The breakfast was great and they had a veggie option. Stayed in room 2 that had a private bathroom outside the room but it was very well equipped and is only for the room, robes are provided and it’s close to the room so wasn’t a problem for me at all. Thank for a lovely stay. "

"Location on the edge of York city center was an easy walk to all attractions. Convenient for both car (large city parking lot nearby) and rail (station just across the river). We had a large room with a very spacious bathroom, all done to satisfaction."

Also as I have limited appetite choice was restricted. Overall would certainly recommend staying here also dog friendly so daughters family could bring their dog and all atebrsakfast together"

"A very nice and very tidy B&B! The location was perfect for us - we were able to walk all over the old town and it was an easy walk from the train station. Super comfy beds and nice towels. It is an older townhouse with several floors, so no elevator- but that was expected. The hot English Breakfast was very good!"

Lots of parking right outside (ensure to request a virtual parking permit in advance) - fabulously clean, room with an incredibly comfy bed (really important to both of us due to back issues). Shared bathroom no issues, spotless and no waits even tho the property was fully booked. Breakfast absolutely fantastic, people lovely, and a very short walk to the city walls thru the park. We will be back - fabulous stay - thank you!!"

"Guest house is lovely, arrival was smooth, car park was quite small and the driveway is very narrow not ideal if you have a large car as makes getting in and out difficult. Our double room was clean and nicely decorated, mattress was ok however the wooden bed frame was very creaky and we could also hear our neighbours bed too. The walls are quite thin and due to it being an older property floor boards creak. We were woken at 1am by guests in the room next door coming home, talking and walking...
