"Stay here a few times a year when passing through to our destination. Although it’s a services hotel it’s extremely quiet and the bed I super comfortable. "
"The friendly owners and a very clean, quiet and comfortable room within easy walking distance to all the amenities make The Grafton a great place to stay. We would definitely book again. "
"We stayed only one evening. Young woman on reception was friendly and smiley. Ordinary double room was very clean with a lovely soft comfy bed.
We had the carvery in the evening which was wonderful. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was delicious with friendly helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Our thanks to all staff for a happy stay. "
"Lovely old building in quiet location. Unusually, was able to book a single room which helps keep costs down when travelling solo. Although compact, it had everything needed for a stopover and was attractively decorated and spotlessly clean."
"Yet again an excellent stay booked a single room but was quite large.
Love this accommodation will always stay here when possible great value for money "
"Perfect stay once again.

"Easy access from A1(M) and convenient for Harrogate and York. Our one night visit introduced us to a historic home, beautifully restored by the current owners. All the staff were exceptional; the house has interesting rooms, clean and beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!"
"Lovely old gate house cottages that has been updated for a very good accommodation. Has all you need for a comfortable stay. Located at the gates of a beautiful old estate. Village is nice and The Bridge hotel is conveniently located for good food and drinks. This was a perfect place to spend two weeks with our dogs. The walks out the door were great and garden was perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Hope to come back and stay again! "
"Had a lovely one night stay. Richard and Karen were very good hosts. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities, en-suite. Nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge, just outside the room for tea and coffee, along with a couple of bottles of water. Also had a couple of bars of chocolate on the hospitality tray! Although property is in centre of town it is on a small side road and is very quiet. Parking is nearby, which Richard directs you to and is very reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious, which you choose the night before (for cooked), so it is prepared fresh. Also choice of cereals, juice, fresh fruit, plus cooked and toast. The breakfast room is overlooking a small courtyard garden with bird feeders. Lovely to see the birds coming down whilst having breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thank you."
Cosy Cottage With Exposed Beams, Private Garden And Countryside Views
10/10 Excellent
"Emma sent us very clear directions and gave us a lovely welcome. Gardener's Cottage is well cared for, comfortable and in a lovely setting. It's is cosy but not cramped. We had a lovely holiday with highlights including Bribham Rocks and Fountains Abbey (both so much more extensive and stunning than we expected), Knaresborough's river Nidd (with stunning viaduct views from the castle and museum), and Harrogate's gardens all the way from the centre to RHS Harlow Carr. Betty's tea rooms deserve their famous reputation several times over. It was always nice to come back to our comfy cosy cottage at the end of another happy day out. We have had a great holiday. Thank you Emma. "
"Great selection for breakfast and very tasty. Comfy bed. It was market day (Wednesday) so traffic was really busy, we was having trouble finding somewhere to park, I telephoned the hotel and asked if it was okay to park early, they said yes and also I asked if we could park beyond our checkout time and they said yes. So stress free excellent service and experience 👍"
