Shabby & waaay overpriced.
The staff was very friendly and helpful but for $400/per night it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. It was more like a $75-100 night hotel. The room was decorated nicely but had black mold not the ceiling and filthy carpeting. You couldn't open the window (even though we had a lovely view of a river and a marina) and the AC unit had no fresh air setting, so IT just recycled the same stale, damp air around, over and over. No wonder there was mold on the ceiling! And the bedding and furniture upholstery felt damp all the time. The lobby furniture was shabby and dirty, because people were sitting and eating breakfast all over it. The breakfast food was nothing special, just the usual old stuff you'd find in Red Roof Inn or a La Quinta. For $400 per night, one expects something exceptional, and this was at best only average.
