"Nice enough staff. The pub looked like a 1970’s Benidorm recreation of a British pub with a ceiling full of beer mats. Food was ok but a little overpriced for pub grub. The outside area was filthy. The doors to the outbuildings that house the rooms were ramshackle. The rooms themselves looked like they were last decorated about 30 years ago. The TV was a 20 year old mini tv with free view that didn’t hold the signal. Neither tv or kettle had a PAT testing sticker. The bathroom was grubby...

"We've stayed before - same problem as last time. It was cold and the heating was only put on after some persistence from us. The staff here do not have control of the heating so it is hard for them to respond to a reasonable request for warmth"

"I would like to point out that this property is not in Grantham but in South Witham, Grantham. This makes a great deal of difference and took us much longer to find and right out of our way. I suggest you correct this. The address given by you takes you to different part of the area and is confusing. So please correct it and add South Witham to the full address. "

"The station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. "Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "
