Everything from start to finish was amazing! The check in process, the location of the property, the rooms, and the AC (it was very hot during our stay so we were pleasantly surprised to have AC!). Highly highly recommend this apartment and would stay again next trip to London!
A very spacious apartment in an amazing location that is within walking distance to many attractions and shops. Check-in was easy - Dalton met us at the door and we were fortunate to be able to check in early. Despite being below street level, there was lots of natural light (those with mobility issues may find the stairs difficult, but it wasn't a problem for us). There was also plenty of storage and the beds were comfortable, albeit on the softer side, but this is personal preference. We appreciated the toiletries provided, however if you are staying for more than a couple days you will have to replenish yourself. The washer/dryer was also very useful to have. We couldn't figure out the drying feature, but were able to use the drying rack provided. Overall, a great stay and would recommend!
Quiet & comfortable & spacious. Good storage throughout, & easily accessible from street. Nice neighborhood, but medical/office district so not as residential as I had wanted. Also the unit is below street level but still nice natural light. Beds were not the standard US king size but very comfortable. Kitchen could be a bit better stocked & organized, but otherwise no major issues - updated appliances, & great water heat & pressure. Also really loved the AC & floor fan in bedroom! Lovely living area!
The flat is very cute and most importantly for the London heat wave, it has a/c or "air con" as the British say. Each major room has separate environmental controls so everyone was happy. The living room contains comfortable seating and a dining table for 4 people. The kitchen is described as a kitchenette but we found it to be much more than adequate. There are several grocery stores within walking distance. The flat was clean upon arrival. The location in Marylebone is central to many typical tourist activities. The Bond Street tube station is a close walk and there is a nice French bakery at the end of the block that sells a variety of pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. We visited Westminster Abbey, walked Westminster bridge, and took a boat to Greenwich (highly recommend). Another unexpectedly interesting tour was of the Churchill War Museum. We shopped at several major department stores within walking distance of the flat. The flat is located below street level and does not have an elevator down to that level. The stairs were just fine for us, but I imagine that people with mobility issues would find the location challenging, if not impossible to navigate. The best part of our stay was the troubleshooting that the owner's contact, Dalton, performed when the a/c in the primary bedroom refused to work. The next day Dalton had an electrician on site to take care of the problem. He kept us up-to-date and was easily reachable, even after hours. This is 5-star service!
