This Soho location is absolutely ideal for exploring the other city that never sleeps. Greek Street is just south of Soho Square and is located in the heart of the capital's entertainment district. Many of the City's best bars and restaurants are on the doorstep. All apartments in this building are one bedroom with a reception room sofa bed for extra guests. The Space: Once inside the property, you are within a compact one bedroom apartment on the second floor of the building with no lift. The open plan reception room has a comfortable sofa bed, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features a washing machine so that you can do some laundry and travel light, a dishwasher because who wants to do the dishes by hand, toaster and kettle, fridge, stove/hob, oven and microwave. We know how important it is for people with special dietary requirements to prepare food for themselves rather than rely on the understanding and cooperation of restaurants and you may not want to eat out all the time, so we make sure you have the added choice of self catering. Of course, there are plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for you to use. The bedroom area has a freshly made bed with hotel quality bed linen, wardrobes with hangers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, TV and good quality towels for all guests. The modern shower room provides some toiletries on arrival. We also put together a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and some snacks for when you arrive. Good quality wifi is available in all our properties to help you plan your day's sightseeing, catch up on some work, keep in touch with friends and family back home or simply to relax after a busy day in the capital. All City Living London properties offer convenient bases to discover what London has to offer so that you can recharge at the end of the day and then do it all again. The building is above the Pillars of Hercules pub on the north side of Greek Street. The Neighborhood: Soho was once a fashionable district for the aristocracy and is now known for is vibrant popular nightlife, having undergone significant gentrification in the late 20th century where it was known for its sex trade. Still a hub for the LGBTQ+ community and a short distance from Chinatown and popular landmarks such as Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, some of the best bars, restaurants and entertainment spots are to be found here. Greek Street is known for its selection of restaurants and cafes, which include Barrafina, 100 Wardour Street, The Breakfast Club, The Hummingbird Bakery, Monmouth Coffee and L'Escargot. There are parks and open spaces in Golden Square and Soho Square and you have 40 venues in Theatreland on the doorstep and the Royal Opera House also within walking distance. If you want to buy a new guitar, there is no better place than the established shops of Denmark Street. Getting Around: Superb transport links nearby via access to Tottenham Court Road for Northern, Central and Elizabeth lines. The London Stadium can be reached in 45 minutes via the Elizabeth line direct to Stratford station, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be reached in 40 minutes via the Elizabeth line and Overground to Silver Street and Wembley can be reached in 50 minutes by going one stop on the Elizabeth line and then the Jubilee line to Wembley Park. The nearest station is Tottenham Court Road for Elizabeth, Northern and Central Lines. It was a very very busy street Saturday night but my husband and I didn’t mind that at all. They only thing I was not happy about was when we arrived we did not have wash clothes/rags for the shower. When I called the number provided I was spoken to like I was dumb and had no idea what was going on. We went hunting and we’re able to purchase some but I just didn’t agree with the way I was spoken to. Not communication on VRBO with host was great. Very nice and helpful. Was very clean and modern. We did have a slight problem which I emailed about and was rectified very quickly. My only other problem was the noise outside. It was horrendous until 4/5am with clubs and bars coming out. The windows are single glazed and I could hear every word people outside were saying.
