The hotel is in a quiet location with beautiful gardens. We had a beautiful spacious room that was well appointed. All the staff we came across were lovely.

The staff were friendly, with one lovely ginger boy telling us lots of stories about the hotel and its origins, and one tall waiter finding us a seat looking onto the arena despite those tables all being reserved (sorry that I forgot the actual names!) The lodge was cosy, clean, well equipped and also wheelchair accessible which we thought was a nice touch. The food was amazing.. 2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.

I stayed with two friends to do some walking in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond area. Our primary requirement was for somewhere of a reasonable standard within easy driving distance of where we wanted to walk. In the event, the Abbotsford Hotel delivered all that we wanted and more. fantastic family night. Great value for money. Food was out of this world!!! Only issue the room phone did not work and reception staff told us to contact reception from the room but all the phones in our building have been down for weeks. Pool and spa facilities great. Looking forward to coming back.

Had an Amazing time, used the heath suite, before having a lovely dinner, then breakfast in the morning, staff very friendly & so helpful 😀

I was impressed from the start as the young guy on reception was pleasant, efficient and well spoken. The decor of the room was excellent and outstandingly clean. All in all a good experience.

Lovely hotel right on the side of the Loch a 30 minute walk into town, but has a great restaurant and bar on site. Fab for Loch side walks, parking on site and free

The hotel has beautiful scenic views and gorgeous interior. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I did, however, have one negative experience which was that I passed out in the spa sauna - the high tempature and my low blood pressure were not a good mix. The staff at the hotel couldn’t do enough to make sure you had everything you needed and were super friendly. The hotel had great amenities and although there was a wedding going on it wasn’t too noisy! The room seemed very clean apart from a rogue make up sponge that was lying under the desk.
