Parts of the hotel could do with some tlc, but the breakfast room, dining room and bar area were lovely and the food was great. We liked the gardens with the river at the bottom. "A sad hotel that no doubt has seen better days. Some upgrades being done apparently but our initial room was terrible complete with faulty plumbing. They did change our room to a 'superior' after I highlighted our issues and the staff have to be commended but I don't envy them fronting this establishment. There must be better options in Oban."
