However, the proprietess was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and spacious though they would have benefitted from a more efficient heating system. for a pub in a central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night. Breakfast was cooked to order and was plentiful. For the price it is excellent value. A good place for an overnight stay. "
