Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! Plenty of equipment i.e cot +other items and fixings for stair gate

It was amazing, cozy and clean. Good to have driveway for parking and near to supermarkets, pharmacy.

Compared to other places nearby, this had a lot more to offer. More space, better facilities, comfy double bed, clean and a lovely view.

Really close to a very good road systems and Castles or National Trust close by and the accommodation was perfect all round

Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.

My stay here was very good, it was clean the kitchen was well equipped to be able to cook an evening meal. Once I found the property (did need a little help) it was quiet and the view from the balcony was a excellent, at the end of my day walking exploring the area, the sun was bathing the balcony.

We had a very nice stay at Gowel, cozy, well equipped with all you need, located in good area with easy access to attractions points and hiking areas.

We loved the flat..lots of good memories for us...the view from the lounge is all you need....all that would have improved it woukd have been a smart tv so we could have seen Iplayer...

Rooms are clean and tidy as you would expect, Ian was a very nice host, cake on arrival was lovely. Location was great for us as we were touring on a motorbike. Rooms were cosy.

WOW!!!!! What a property! From amazing scenic views from the property, to the cosy lounges, fantastic bedrooms and garden this really is the spot to have a peaceful break. The village itself is quaint with nice pubs a short walk away and a small harbour and playground for children. We have already said we will book again.

A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too!
