"I had completed the online check-in process the previous evening, and my booking had been confirmed. This stay was not a routine reservation; it was carefully planned to celebrate my husband’s birthday, for which he had travelled from London. Being informed of the cancellation less than one hour before our arrival is completely unacceptable and has caused significant disruption. The manner in which this situation has been handled strikes me as highly unprofessional. A cancellation at such short notice, despite prior confirmation and completed check-in, suggests a serious failure in your booking management. It is difficult not to conclude that the hotel may have overbooked and attempted to justify this with an inadequate explanation."

"It was just little things that stopped me giving it 4 stars. We had 4 rooms and all didn't have a second toilet roll and one had barely half of a roll. Ours was missing a large towel and our message to them wasn't actioned. The hotel itself is well positioned right next to a Co-Op where you can pre-book car parking."

General maintenance and cleanliness were extremely low with our room having a broken window hinge, the bin lid broken off, spit covering the bedroom mirror, the bath taps being brown around the outside, the toilet seat being the incorrect size for the toilet and the bath clearly had had a water leak that had damaged the side and not been replaced/covered. The spa was equally as bad with scum marks around the hot tubs and general lack of repair and maintenance in all areas... A toilet door lock came completely off in my hand!"
