modest place in a good location

It's ok for a sleepover but no desk to put a laptop on; no alarm clock - and they failed to make a wake-up call...

Convenient location

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bar.
Cons: The central heating system. I had to be provided with a fan heater.
Location: Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King (5 mins), Philharmonic Hall & the excellent RLPO (10), Anglican Cathedral (15) and City Centre (20 mins).
Ideal location for concerts at the Philharmonic Hall and within 20 minutes walking distance of both Cathedrals, theatres and the City Centre. Because of the listed building status the hotel lacks lifts which older visitors would appreciate.

No complaints

Lovely hotel ..within walking distance from the town centre just what we wanted.Reception staff very helpful and lovely,room very clean and bed was very comfortable.Only complaint would be that we couldn't turn the radiator down as was on full blast (Uni11) so just had to leave the window open..apart from that we would definitely come back again...

Affordable but Quality

Loved this hotel. Room was small/budget but super clean and nice, and the bathroom was beautiful! Only thing is that there are no elevators and to get to my room on the top floor I had to walk down and up a bunch of different stairs

Convenient and good location

Staffs were friendly and welcoming. First impression of room was good. The bedsheet and duvet cover were freshly changed, which I am very picky about. It would be better if the curtains were washed. Because rooms are close to each other, I felt the top would crack when guests upstairs walked. The noise woke me up everytime they walked in their room

No room availability when arriving

I booked and paid the room through Expedia, but was told there's no room available when arriving. Then I decided to cancel it and request a refund, however, I still didn't get it now. It was a unpleasant experience.

Excellent Staff

The room was excellent and the staff were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Thank you for comfortable stay.
