Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. "The room was small, bedding didn’t feel luxurious at all, pillows very thin. The doors to the rooms were not soundproof so you can hear everything in the corridor. You have to pay for parking at this hotel! Overall a little disappointing for the price, may as well have saved some money and stayed in a travelodge "

"Nice hotel in a lovely location if you like a bit of a walk. Rooms are renovated and property is well maintained. Larger size bed was very comfortable. Some things don't match the ambition. For example, no way to get coffee in the morning. My room had an electric cattle."

"The hotel is very interesting with it's prison history, though that is also slightly a hinderance. We were in the Houses of Correction and it didn't really feel part of the hotel, you had to leave the main hotel travel across the courtyard to another building that actually felt a little bit like a travel lodge heading to our room. The staff were amazing though, from check-in, to room service, to breakfast and checkout - So absolutely nothing to fault there! I'd just recommend requesting a room in the main part of the hotel as that might be better than what we had."
