Magical and romantic award-winning Hobbit house to slow down, recharge and dream

Set far away from other houses, the Hobbit House was built with love and respect for the elements all around. Full of curves and light and surprises, this ingenious tiny (30 square metre) and award-winning house has everything for an individual or a couple to unwind and relax in quiet contemplative comfort. Watch a wood fire, listen to leaves rustling and owls calling or frogs chirping. The Quinta is being rewilded, so donkeys dogs, pigs and geese wander around close by too.
Located within the ancient hills of Cascais Sintra National Park, the Quinta sits at the entrance of many trails for avid hikers or MTB enthusiasts. Also Guincho beach, with challenging waves, is only a 7 minute drive away. The owners live in the main house 200 m above, so there are people to call on if guests need anything too. A beautiful space in a magical place!

It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal.
