It has a very beautiful coastline but it's not particularly photogenic during the day, specially from up above in the local hotel. Room was very clean, Breakfast was good, Beach view was amazing. Nice running path along the beach. Hotel was a little far out from everything. But very quiet and relaxing. Restaurant was ok, not many food choices and the staff wasn’t the nicest.

The free breakfast was amazing! So many options. The hotel was clean and the rooms were cozy. Only downside was the spa area. Only the salt water pool was available, everything else wasn’t working. But the overall experience was fantastic, we will be back!

Clean friendly staff. Our room was the smallest - challenging with lots of luggage and balcony not really enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Location is great, parking could be challenging during busier times. Breakfast was amazing, beds could be more comfortable, but all in all we would stay again and ask for a bigger room. Pools, cool room, hot tub was not so hot, bathroom could use some tables for storage as it is it was tremendous. Highly recommend and understand why always booked.

Beautiful beachfront hotel with an exquisite balcony overlooking the ocean. I was surprised to see the size of the bathroom: huge! Super friendly staff & a 10 to cleanliness. the spa is spectacular. Fully renovated room with modern eco fridge, safety, and all the necessary gadgets for a comfortable stay. The restaurant across the street is the best in town by far. Excellent breakfast looking at the ocean. Will come back for sure!!

Decent, if a bit tired hotel

Hotels is a little tired and needs some time and effort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good, with excellent service. Breakfast was very disappointing. The two automatic coffee machines were not working properly and the orange juice was so diluted, it was like drinking slightly flavoured water. Why they have to let themselves down like that, I assume to save a few cents, is beyond me, as it spoilt an otherwise nice stay.

Everything is lovely, however the facilities are showing some disrepair and corners are being cut to maintain them. Our faucet was loose innthe bathroom, the flooring in the bathroom was warped as well. No fan made the mirrors unusable due to fogging. The one TV mount was... creative and dangerous (a zip-tie used to replace the articulating mount that had clearly broken, instead of a replacement) All of this is forgivable, given the price, cleanliness, staff quality and overall beauty of the area. Minor issues, easily resolved with some attention to safety and quality.

I was excited to book and check into this hotel given its proximity to the ocean and the area of Portugal it is in. The staff was friendly and helpful and my room had a beautiful view of the ocean. However, I woke up after the first night with red, puffy eyes, a sore and scratchy throat and terrible congestion...a strong allergic reaction to something in the room. I paid for two nights but checked out early the second morning because staying in the room again was not an option health-wise. I informed the front desk person about the situation (she could see I was suffering), asked for the manager's name so I could follow up, and also asked Expedia to follow up with the hotel about refunding the second night. The hotel has been unresponsive to me and Expedia which is very disappointing. Despite the great location, I would not recommend this hotel due to concerns about mold and other allergens in the rooms. Note: my symptoms cleared up in less than two hours after leaving the hotel without any medication. I do not have any known allergies but something in the room triggered a strong response.

The cleanliness of the rooms is outstanding. All rooms have sea view. You can hear the sound of the waves day and night. If you look for a quiet place to relax, this is the perfect hideaway. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. You will mostly come across local Portuguese families. Very few tourists.

A bathtub/shower in the middle of the room almost next to the bed. The outside of the tub had mildew on it. The tub/shower was almost impossible to climb in and out. It was approximately 3 feet high.
