"Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Very well equipped, but needs a bath mat if you are showering. Excellent food at the Street Head Inn, 10 minutes walk away."

"cottage well equipped & tastefully furnished, very cozy & comfy with a lovely view over sheep pasture. although we felt tucked away we enjoyed pubs and cafes in walking distance."

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat."

"great location"

"Very nice place"

"This is a remarkable historic property in the Swaledale valley, with extraordinary views. And yet the cottage has been painstakingly updated inside, with every comfort and amenity attended to. The bed is comfortable; the bath is modern; there's a fantastic wood-stove. And the owners have provided wonderful maps and suggestions for walks in the area. You're just up the hill from the Punch Bowl, a gastro-pub with good food. This is a very special place to stay."

"Family friendly , just as described on the booking, very clean and spacious we had no complaints, we paid 10 for earlier check in which was fantastic thank you!"

"The location was easy to get, and check in was seamless. The room was clean. There were details about where the rooms were located but there was no information about other areas like kitchen and bathroom. The cleanliness of the other areas of the apartment could be improved. But overall I had a good stay."
