Out of the way place to stay, nice and quite, easy reach of were I needed to be.

The friendly greeting was lovely. We stayed for one night and were going out in Milton Keynes and Sarah organised a taxi for us. Our room was small but had everything we needed including tea and coffee making facilities and large shower. In the morning my continental breakfast was brought to my room and consisted of cereal ,ham , 2 types of cheese , pickle, bread, butter jam, marmalade and fruit. We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.

This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well.
