great locations and attention to detail

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: nothing
Location: great bars and restaurants of all prices/types both in the marina and the town
excellent quick check in with glass of cava. Staff throughout lovely. Great location between marina and town. We only had bed and breakfast but the choice was amazing. small details and attention to detail make this a special place to stay. Only downside was that sunbeds so close together but on the plus side there were plenty to choose from - even though it was easter holidays.

Top class hotel suite experience

Posted 13-Apr-2017
Pros: Generally a great place to stay. Merits the 5* rating. The Islas de los Lobos restaurant was superb.
Cons: Range of gluten and lactose free options in the restaurants. Availability of sun loungers. Too many people rather than too few loungers.
Location: Promenade walks, Rubicon Marina for food, Volcano walks. Nice beach with reasonably priced loungers and umbrellas.
Stayed for a week early April and did most of the things recommended for tourists to do on Lanzarote. Highly suitable for those wanting a quieter time than at the more party-oriented resorts. Very family friendly too. The weather is very reliable at that time of year, but it did get a bit windy at times. I recommend the Yaiza Princesa.

Lovely hotel

Posted 01-Apr-2017
Fantastic room... massive bed. Everything you can think of and more in suite. Being vegetarian we had loads of options in both breakfast and dinner buffets. I only wish there labels had a symbol to confirm what is vegetarian to avoid having to ask staff each time. Despite that we ate very well. The beach is a 2 minute stroll... and shops close by. The hotel staff really went out of their way to help us with any query. We booked a south island volcano tour with them as well. Pool facilities were also excellent. We had a lovely holiday and will definitely return in the future.

Nice hotel near the beach and shops, bars and rest

Posted 04-Mar-2017
Large hotel with good pools. Excellent staff. Suite clean and comfortable BUT noisy. We could hear showers being used, babies crying in the night, people in the corridor..not great!

Excellent hotel with fabulous family facilities

Posted 26-Feb-2017
This is our 3rd stay at this hotel. The last was over 4 years ago when the kids were 4 & 6. At that time the hotel was perfect for us and I was worried that returning with older children there would be less for them to do but I need not have been. The children now 10 & 8 had a fantastic time and as anyone with kids knows when the kids are happy the parents are happy! Excellent breakfast and lots of choice, albeit relatively expensive, of other restaurants within the hotel for lunch and dinner. Plenty of other options outside the hotel, within easy reach too. The hotel has weathered well and is maintained to a high standard. Probably not quite a 5 star hotel as rooms are a bit dated with heavy mahogany furniture (that make a lot of noise when cleaners are in rooms around you) and small things like old, stainless steel teapots that leak, paying for water from the minibar etc. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. The entertainment / Kiko staff excellent and overall is a great family holiday.

Dear Mr./Mrs., On behalf of the entire hotel staff, we would like to express our gratitude for choosing the Princesa Yaiza to enjoy your holidays. We are happy to hear that you had a lovely holiday with us. We really apreciate the positive feedback and we hope that we have fulfilled all of your expectations. All the rooms in the hotel are decorated in the colonial style, that is why there is a lot of wooden furniture. We hope to welcome you back once more. Kind regards, Guest Relations Department

Faultless!

Posted 16-Feb-2017
Pros: Clean. comfortable. Position perfect - between shopping and eating areas - and such a variety of quiet areas to spend lazy time!
Cons: Only the site plan, which took a few days to get used to.
Location: As above - location excellent, almost on the beach but in a quiet area between busier areas. Good food choice in Playa Blanca and in the Rubicon.
A large but personal hotel. The staff were helpful, cheerful and ever-present. Very comfortable suite, restaurants with an amazing choice, and leisure facilities superb.

Lovely hotel on the promenade

Posted 30-Jan-2017
Pros: The location is good, the food excellent, the staff friendly and the rooms superb
Cons: I feel quilts would be a better option than the several layers of bed linen.
Location: It is between Puerto Rubicon and Playa Blanca harbour. Near a beach and backs onto the promenade
This is a suite hotel and this was our first stay. It's everything that a five star hotel should be-from check in to check out. Apart from a couple of minor niggles our stay was delightful and we were sad to have to go home. Good for families
