Great for our 18 month old

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Originally were put in a room with a really poor balcony (view of the car park and back of house entrance) but were moved the next day. The manager of the hotel Victor Hill was brilliant as were all the staff. Really the best service I've ever received in Spain/Balearics. Greatest air con ever. 15 min walk to the port with loads of places to eat. Only downer was the quality of the food. Ok but not great. We'd definitely stay again though.

Lovely, family friendly resort

Posted 05-Jul-2016
Almost everything was perfect. We chose this hotel because the rooms had kettles and microwaves so we could sterilise bottles for our 6 month old baby. Our 6 night stay was lovely. We got a very good rate for a double room and were surprised we got such a nice sea view from our balcony. The resort is very large but makes it feel spacious and not crowded. Lots of families with babies and children. Lanzarote was probably one of the most accessible places we've been to. A few small problems. There were always a few ants scouting around our bathroom. Walls and ceilings are quite thin so we could hear all the noises from our neighbours. Also, we were in the A block which faces the bars/clubs adjacent. So we could hear thumping music until 3am in the morning. Also, we ordered room service on our first night which gave my wife food poisoning and spooky half her holiday. However, we would still stay here again if we were to come back. Playa Blanca was so beautiful and lots of shops/restaurants outside the resort as well.

Yo prefiero uno cama de matrimonio, no dos camas empujado juntos. I prefere a double bed, not two single beds pushed together. Yo prefiero un edredón, not las sábanas y la manta I prefer a duvet, not blankets and sheets

Excellent Spring break.

Posted 24-Mar-2016 on Hotels
Had a week here in March. First visit to Canary Island and it was perfect for early Spring break. There were quite a lot of young children but, as a retired couple with no grand children, this was not a problem - in fact they added to the atmosphere. Visited nearby couples only hotel and it was dull by comparison. Breakfast was excellent but buffet dinner was quite expensive and disappointing. But lots of good restaurants nearby. Overall good experience.

Princesa Yaiza - Stay 27 Feb - 5 Mar 2016

Posted 08-Mar-2016 on Hotels
Our 2nd time at this quality hotel, it did not disappoint. Beautifully designed and furnished with a real sense of space and light. Most rooms get a pool/sea view, and we were upgraded to a junior suite with pool/sea view which was roomy with a wonderful square balcony with a perfect view across to F'ventura

Great hotel close to the beach

Posted 06-Mar-2016
Pros: Location, restaurants, great staff.
Cons: Slightly less number of sunbeds around the upper pool as it can get crowded.
Location: The hotel is placed halfway between the town centre & Rubicon Marina on the walkway by the sea which gives you the option to turn left or right for a
Excellent facilities, great food. Visited numerous times & always love it. Recommend the Spa, best to upgrade to a suite with sea view if you can. The hotel is placed halfway between the town centre & Rubicon Marina on the walkway by the sea which gives you the option to turn left or right for a stroll or different restaurants to compliment those at the hotel & to provide additional variety.
