"We had a fantastic stay at Austwick. It was spacious and furnished to a very high standard. We only had one teaspoon and short on mugs, however a quick visit to reception and this was addressed by the incredibly helpful and polite team. "We thought this would be an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas around Skipton. The cottage was way more than that. It was clean, well-eqipped and had everything you could need. Cosy, great countryside views all around, plenty of hot water, a roaring fire and peace and quiet. The garden was dog proof (for our 2 anyway). The owner Rebecca was delightful and very helpful. We had terrible weather of wind and rain but it didn't stop us enjoying the cottage or area. Plenty to do with a...

"Absolutely terrible cottages you can't get any more basic. Overlooking a concrete car park even though I paid for Garden view. Refused to stay in them and made them change me to the hotel which was OK. The site is very shabby and derelict. But hotel is modern. Nothing to do for children. Wouldn't stay again."
