"A lovely hotel right next to the Cathedral. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. No air-con in our room so it was very warm and we needed to keep the windows open. Very little outside noise to bother us though. Parking wasn’t a problem as the car park (and several others) were close by. Would highly recommend this hotel if you like to stay somewhere with character. "

"Loved our stay at this great hotel. OK maybe only of interest if you are visiting the Wildlife Park, but for that it's hard to beat. Checked the reviews and the only thing that kept coming up was the loudness of the extractor fan - we thought 'really'! But they are very loud! Staff were great, air-con silent and effective. Food a little limited, but clearly aimed at families and pretty much as we expected "
