"Quality Hotel & Spa "
Quality Hotel & Spa.. The staff here were very welcoming & gave the hotel a really homely feel. They were very kind and offered us a safe & beautiful place to stay. The hotel spa is absolutely beautiful & is very private & has everything you would need. The hotel, hotel rooms & spa are also blessed with a gorgeous view of Blackpool's North Pier. Excellent hotel & we cannot wait to stay again. A huge thanks to all of the staff for having us.

"Lovely"
Booked last minute break with my husband and 21 month old. Amazed by the gorgeous views from our cabin right next to the lake. We had a great time and would love to go back. Toddler had the time of his life feeding the ducks and wildlife and had a great soft play area. Lovely for a family break

"Great one night stopover"
We booked because of the excellent price for three people and as a necessary one night stopover on a journey of over 350 miles. However, having then read some of the reviews we were quite worried - we genuinely needn't have been. On arrival there was ample parking space, even though a saturday night and the hotel was fully booked. At reception there was a very slight delay in checking in as the receptionist was dealing with another customer, however she politely acknowledged us and apologised; a second receptionist then arrived within a couple of minutes. We hadn't realised when we booked the hotel that we were actually booking into the village complex - we were given the keys for chalet 91. This was very close to the hotel reception and very clearly signposted. The room itself was lovely - comfy beds, clean, TV was easy to use, teas and coffees; the bathroom was huge and again very clean and well stocked. If I was nit picking - there were a few scuffs to the walls; who likes brown curtains ?; the security light outside was quite bright and did throw some light into the room; the door was a bit difficult to lock (really minor issues). My husband and son used the swimming pool which was very good. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. Lovely landscaped area to front of hotel. Certainly wouldn't mind staying in same room again next time we make the same trip.

"Nice hotel, close to the beach and close to shops."
Hotel staff were very friendly and nice. Room are nice and clean and got everything you need for a weekend away. Hotel got lots of stairs, so would not be good for people that can't use stairs. Hotel is close to beach, sealife centre, blackpool tower and shops.

"Reasonably priced for a lovely hotel"
I called the reception the day before our arrival to ask if we would be able to check in early due to us attending a wedding. Was told this couldn't be guaranteed but they would put a note on our booking. On arrival, we asked to check in. We felt the staff member was slightly abrupt (as we were early) but once I explained I had phoned etc, then it was checked if our room was available and we were able to go to our room. We were very thankful that they allowed us to check in early.

Pocket Guide: Family Friendly Hotels in Lancashire

Lancashire makes the perfect choice if you're trying to decide where to go for your next family outing. This county has everything, from a long and lovely coastline packed with seaside resorts to a beautiful variety of landscapes that resemble parts of the nearby Lake District. Add to that eclectic mix the ruined castles and abbeys, great shopping opportunities and fabulous nature reserves and theme parks, and you have everything in place for a fantastic family holiday together. It's important if you're coming with small kids to choose a suitable family-friendly hotel in Lancashire, so that you're all made to feel welcome and your kids are well looked after. It will provide you with the perfect base for getting out and about in wonderful Lancashire.

    Family-Friendly Lancashire Hotels

Let's face it, toddlers and young kids can be a handful. This is especially the case when they're bored or frustrated, so they need plenty to keep them happily occupied both inside and outside your hotel accommodation. It's easy to do this in a theme park or out shopping, but it can be trickier in a hotel. The big advantage of choosing a family-friendly hotel in Lancashire when you come here is that it will have the facilities in place that you need to do this. Family-friendly Lancashire hotels such as Dalmeny Hotel in St. Anne's and Best Western Park Hall Hotel & Leisure Club in Chorley will have staff able to handle kids in the most appropriate manner. There'll also often be extra specialised services and facilities, such as a kids' club, a safe play area on the premises with soft toys and child-minding services.

    Lancashire Family-Friendly Hotels

A good family-friendly hotel in Lancashire always has the kind of relaxed and informal atmosphere that smaller kids love, and a tolerant and even indulgent staff, not easily ruffled by noise, for example. With crèche facilities, nappy-changing rooms and all the help and advice you need concerning local family attractions, a Lancashire family-friendly hotel is the best base from which to explore the county's many attractions.
