"Couldn't ask for a better hotel"
I arrived on my 1st trip away with my twin girls ever, as soon as we got into the bar area the girls were away playing with the toys available. We were checked in within minutes and shown to our room, our lovely, warm, clean room. The decor was fresh and bright, more than enough tea coffee etc and the complimentary goodies, well, the girls were made up! Flat screen tv, bunk beds (although they top and tail!) more than enough space and a really good shower. We're booked in again for April, for 4 nights instead of 2. The staff are wonderful, if there is anything they can do for you to make your stay more comfortable, they're on it 😁 The restaurant is brilliant, a great choice of either great British meals and some lovely Italian dishes, I would recommend the lamb shank in chefs sauce 😋. I mentioned doing anything to help, my girls were somewhat fussy with their food, even with their usual, Paul would come back with something else for them to try. I don't think I need to look at any other hotels, this one has everything we need, very comfortable rooms, excellent staff, very clean, food is also great and thankfully the other residents didn't seem to mind my 4 year olds playing 'hide and sneak' in the bar area! Oh and a 2 minute tram ride to the hustle and bustle! What more do you want! 😀

"Nice quiet hotel"
Stayed here to go to a wedding at the nearby Samlesbury Hall. It was easy to get to from the motorway in a quiet countryside location so it was easy yo get a peaceful sleep at night. The room was spacious, modern and clean (aside form the bogey on the ceiling and the wall beside the dressing table) The staff were pleasant but very slow and you need to be careful about charges to the room because most people in our party were charged for something they had not ordered ourselves included. But I think this can be ironed out because I was informed that this was a new system put in place recently so we can allow for teething problems. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend

"Great Place to stay"
Upon arrival we were shown straight to our rooms by a friendly member of staff and found the rooms to be really well equipped, comfy beds, bathroom with toiletries all of which were really clean. We telephoned ahead to book a table for dinner where we found the menu to be varied, plentiful and the food was well cooked as was the Breakfast the next morning. We would certainly stay here again when visiting the area for family occasions. Our only problem was after we had retired for the night, other inconsiderate guests continued to bang doors and talk loudly, which kept our little one awake, but once they had gone to bed it was very quiet and peaceful with no traffic noise.

"Lovely hotel in a great location"
The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. They made our stay even more enjoyable. The property, which is very attractive and well maintained, is located very close to whalley and clitheroe which made it a great location for short trips out. Will definitely be staying again. 5 stars!

Pocket Guide: Family Friendly Hotels in Lancashire

Lancashire makes the perfect choice if you're trying to decide where to go for your next family outing. This county has everything, from a long and lovely coastline packed with seaside resorts to a beautiful variety of landscapes that resemble parts of the nearby Lake District. Add to that eclectic mix the ruined castles and abbeys, great shopping opportunities and fabulous nature reserves and theme parks, and you have everything in place for a fantastic family holiday together. It's important if you're coming with small kids to choose a suitable family-friendly hotel in Lancashire, so that you're all made to feel welcome and your kids are well looked after. It will provide you with the perfect base for getting out and about in wonderful Lancashire.

    Family-Friendly Lancashire Hotels

Let's face it, toddlers and young kids can be a handful. This is especially the case when they're bored or frustrated, so they need plenty to keep them happily occupied both inside and outside your hotel accommodation. It's easy to do this in a theme park or out shopping, but it can be trickier in a hotel. The big advantage of choosing a family-friendly hotel in Lancashire when you come here is that it will have the facilities in place that you need to do this. Family-friendly Lancashire hotels such as Dalmeny Hotel in St. Anne's and Best Western Park Hall Hotel & Leisure Club in Chorley will have staff able to handle kids in the most appropriate manner. There'll also often be extra specialised services and facilities, such as a kids' club, a safe play area on the premises with soft toys and child-minding services.

    Lancashire Family-Friendly Hotels

A good family-friendly hotel in Lancashire always has the kind of relaxed and informal atmosphere that smaller kids love, and a tolerant and even indulgent staff, not easily ruffled by noise, for example. With crèche facilities, nappy-changing rooms and all the help and advice you need concerning local family attractions, a Lancashire family-friendly hotel is the best base from which to explore the county's many attractions.
